You can pick up an expensive sun cream bottle at the high SP factor thinking it would be protecting you against all the sun’s harmful rays. However, you would not be aware whether or not this lotion will protect you against UVA damage. This is important because UVA rays causes ageing to the skin which also penetrates deeper into the skin and degrades layers, which ordinarily provide your skin tone and elasticity. These bottles of sun protection can be very expensive even for a small amount. However, this does not ensure that you have total all-round protection covering a broad spectrum in the summer sunshine. It is humbling to note the more 1.2 million skin cancers are identified and diagnosed in the United States alone every year. Recent research has revealed that the number one selling sunscreen products also have the least amount of protection.

Sun safety should be incorporated in every home, school, workplace and recreational facility and should include methods of sun protection such as sunscreen , protective eyewear and apparel, hats and even canopies and awnings. …
It is important when it comes to sun safety to familiarize your self with how best to combine sun protection methods by making sure what the standards for sun protection should be applied and how to best use a certain product. For instance, you should be aware that sun protective clothing carries a rating and those certain categories are best for a particular skin type. Sunscreens are the best protection if they come in a broad spectrum and are applied at least twenty minutes on the skin before being exposed to the sun. You must never forget to reapply the sunscreen every two hours while you are exposed to the harsh rays of the sun. It is wise to read the literature of the product first before using it.
