Spread the word about the tanning calculator

Written by suNNy on 31 May 2010 – 6:01

On the beach last week I saw some people slowly turn red. Why? Because they didn’t apply sunscreen or because they didn’t re-apply it. Maybe they’re not aware of the risks involved, maybe they are not well informed. Maybe they just don’t care.

Later that night, I was sitting in a restaurant. Mom and dad and their 2 children were just one table away. The 2 kids were quite burnt. Their skin was red hot and they suffered from the increasing itching and pain. The worst had probably yet to come. Mom and dad were more lucky. I suppose they spent most of the time under an umbrella. Kids don’t. They play around and do not take care if their parents don’t tell them to.

I presume you take care about [tag]sun tanning[/tag] and the risks of sunburn. Otherwise you wouldn’t have stumbled across this site. To make people aware of the dangers of sun tanning and to help them protect their children, I’d ask you to promote this site and its uv-calculator as much as you can. Send it to everyone you know, talk about it in newsgroups, add it to your site, tell other webmasters about it or enter it on one of the numerous social bookmarking sites by clicking the button below.

Remember that with a few clicks, you can save someone from a painful sunburn or – in the long run – from a life-threatening [tag]skin cancer[/tag]. You don’t know how it feels anymore? Take a peek a this picture and imagine what the poor woman will go through in the next few days.
